Vendon Opens the Telemetry World for Traditional Coffee Machines

A brand new telemetry solution, developed by the Vendon team, has been launched to make telemetry more accessible for traditional coffee machine operators, such as coffee roasters, café managers, machine manufacturers, coffee shop chain owners, coffee machine technical service companies as well as coffee baristas.

A long-awaited necessity

Until now, traditional coffee machines have been limited in their ability to leverage the benefits of modern technology. However, operators are now able to access real-time data collected from the traditional coffee machines, to monitor and manage them remotely. This, in turn, enables making data-driven decisions to optimize business operations and enhance the overall quality of service and, ultimately, the experience of the end-customer and the taste of drinks. Accessing real-time data and measuring critical parameters directly impacts the quality of the coffee beverages produced, helping operators ensure that each cup meets the desired standards. Furthermore, if technical deviations occur, adjustments can be made remotely by the operator to fine-tune the machine’s settings for optimal brewing.

“We are always very attentive to industry needs and, as a result, have created a multi-feature solution that not only collects precise real-time data, but also enables two-way communication with the machines, opening a vast range of telemetry tools for traditional coffee management. With our new Traditional Coffee Telemetry solution we can provide more information and allow coffee operators to elevate the industry to a new level, comments Marta Fišere, Product Manager at Vendon.

A set of new features

Traditional Coffee Telemetry is the next addition to the wide range of tools developed by Vendon to enable smart and intuitive operations for coffee businesses. Paired with a Preventative Maintenance solution, that enables regular and automated machine inspection, cleaning, and maintenance to prevent unplanned downtime and costly repairs, Vendon telemetry ensures easy and remote control from anywhere in the world. Furthermore, the extensive collection of data is aggregated in convenient audit reports, transforming data into meaningful insights and ensuring that every machine reaches its full potential.

The solution enables two-way communication allowing not only to collect data from the machines but also change the machine setup remotely, like water volume and temperature. It has an excellent single-platform interface, enabling remote control and monitoring of operators’ machine fleets in Vendon Cloud. The Vendon team can be proud to have developed a multi-feature packed solution that measures water and steam temperatures, thus providing more data about the quality of the product, besides, the solution collects data on all products that machine is producing, including tea drinks.

Additionally, the Traditional Coffee Telemetry solution allows more thorough maintenance and upkeep of machines as now a cleaning counter provides detailed information on maintenance regularity. This feature, along with remote monitoring of all technical alerts, helps coffee machine owners make sure that the machine is used correctly, expands machine longevity and supports warranty repairs.

The solution is fully compatible with Vendon vBox2 and is integrated with Vendon Cloud, enabling convenient management and machine monitoring.
