1. Understanding Vendon Cloud

What is Vendon Cloud?

Vendon Cloud is a remote management platform for vending and coffee machines. It helps operators:

  1. monitor machine status, sales, payments, stock levels, and technical events;
  2. manage stock, refunds, and loyalty actions;
  3. plan routes, restocking, and service work;
  4. and analyze performance through reports and business data.

How is Vendon Cloud different from competitors?


Many providers can offer telemetry, payments, reports, or loyalty tools. That alone is not enough.

The problem starts when each tool lives in its own system. Machine data is checked in one place, payments in another, refunds somewhere else, loyalty in another platform, and route planning still happens separately. For operators, this is not just inconvenient — it weakens control over the business. Teams spend time comparing systems instead of solving problems.

2. Machine compatibility and setup

Does Vendon connect machines from different manufacturers?

Yes. Over the years, Vendon has developed compatibility with 400+ coffee and vending machine models, and most commonly protocols in industry. This makes it possible to connect machines from different manufacturers in one platform.

Can I test Vendon with my business?

Yes. Many operators start with a selected group of machines first. This helps check what data is available, how the platform fits daily work, and which features are most useful.

Can Vendon connect with older machines?

Yes! However, depending on machine type, older machines may provide less data.

Can Vendon connect dispensers, fridges, arcade machines, or other unattended equipment?

No. Vendon specializes in connecting vending and coffee machines. For other unattended equipment, the setup would need to be reviewed separately, but it is not the main focus of Vendon.

Is the SIM card and data plan included?

In many cases, yes. Vendon provides a SIM card with a data plan included, depending on the setup and selected service package. However, in some countries, local regulations may require operators to use SIM cards from a local telecom provider.

The data plan is included but may differ based on what is used, for example telemetry, payments, or QuickPik. If the included data limit is exceeded, additional charges may apply.

Does Vendon Cloud require additional hardware?

Yes. Machines need an IoT device, vBox, to send data to Vendon Cloud.

Does installation require a lot of manual work?

No. There is setup work in the beginning when connecting vBox to the machines, but after installation is done all data is collected automatically and sent to Vendon Cloud.

3. Data, monitoring and machine events

What kind of data can I see in Vendon Cloud?

Depending on the machine and setup, Vendon Cloud can show machine status, sales, payments, product data, stock and ingredient levels, technical events, alerts, cash information, refunds, reports, and maintenance or cleaning data.

What are “Events” in Vendon Cloud?

Events are machine messages shown in Vendon Cloud. They can show issues such as door openings, stock problems, payment issues, temperature fluctuation, machine errors, or other situations that need attention.

How does Vendon Cloud manage stock levels?

Vendon Cloud calculates stock based on what is loaded into the machine and what has been sold.

Operators can set critical stock levels for each product, and Vendon Cloud sends alerts when products reach that level.

4. Route Planning

How does Route Planning work in Vendon Cloud?

Vendon Route Planning creates automatic routes based on machine data, service needs, and rules set by the operator.

The system checks machine status, stock levels, technical events, and planned service tasks. If a machine needs attention, it is added to the route queue, and daily routes can be generated for the field team.

What routes can I plan?

Operators can plan refill routes, service routes, maintenance routes, or mixed routes where several tasks are handled during the same visit.

Routes can be based on stock levels, machine errors, planned maintenance, machine priority, employee availability, starting and ending locations, and estimated time needed at each stop.

Because knowing the usual routes does not always show which machines actually need a visit today.

Vendon Cloud helps operators plan routes from real machine needs instead of manual checks. The system identifies which machines need a visit, adds them to the route, and helps the field team focus on useful stops only. This means the same employee can visit more machines that actually need work, spend less time on unnecessary stops, and cover more of the fleet without immediately adding more staff.

5. Payments and POS systems

Does a Vendon card reader work without telemetry?

No. To use the Vendon card reader with full transaction visibility and refund management in Vendon Cloud, a master device such as vBox is required.

How are payments managed in Vendon Cloud?

Vendon Cloud’s Transaction log shows operators what was paid, how it was paid, and whether the transaction was successful.

Depending on the setup, this includes cash, card, and loyalty payments, as well as refund management from the same platform.

Can Vendon Cloud connect to my POS system?

In many cases, yes. Vendon Cloud connects with different payment setups, including card readers, coin systems, and mobile apps. However, before integration, the exact setup needs to be reviewed for confirmation.

6. Integrations and API

Does Vendon Cloud have an API?

Can Vendon Cloud be connected with our warehouse or business system?

Yes, this can be done through API or custom integration.

7. QuickPik and loyalty

What is QuickPik?

Can QuickPik be used for mobile payments?

Yes. Users can pay through the app when the machine and payment setup support it.

Can QuickPik support closed-loop environments?

Yes. QuickPik can be used in closed-loop environments where only selected users can access certain products, prices, discounts, or credit.

How does QuickPik support loyalty programs?

Operators can create unlimited loyalty groups such as discounts, free drinks, free snacks, or assigned credit.
