Benefits of Vendon Telemetry

When asked about the main advantages of Vendon telemetry, Niels highlighted the automation of daily tasks. Vendon’s solutions handle most of the work, freeing up valuable resources of time and money.

“We use most of the Vendon Cloud functions, but actually, we have access to the API, so most processes are automated. We don’t even need to follow the process ourselves,” says Niels.

Vendingland also benefits from Vendon’s Route Planning and Sales Report features. The Route Planning generates efficient machine refilling routes, while automated Sales Report simplify invoicing. These tools help monitor machine sales and adjust refilling schedules, reducing costs and improving customer satisfaction by ensuring products are always in stock and tailored to consumption patterns.

User-Friendly Interface

Another significant advantage is the user-friendly interface of Vendon Cloud.

“It is the main benefit. With other systems or cloud designs, users often struggle to find the right functions. Vendon is easy to navigate; it’s user-friendly, and the connection between different options is excellent. Everything is well-linked and adjusted for users who are not familiar with cloud systems,” Niels explains.

This ease of use extends to Vendingland’s customers, who also use Vendon Cloud to monitor their machines.

Impact on Business

Niels emphasizes the value of Vendon’s planogram option, which optimizes the refilling process based on machine sales performance. This analysis helps Vendingland make informed business decisions and adjust machines to maximize revenue. “Vendon Cloud provides the necessary data and options to easily optimize our vending machines,” says Niels.

Efficient Resource Usage

Efficient resource usage is crucial for success. Vendon solutions have significantly reduced the time spent on unnecessary actions.

“We aim to automate every repetitive process and focus only on machines that require manual attention. Additionally, we want to further analyze what can be optimized for the customer and how we can assess machine efficiency,” Niels notes.

Growing with Vendon

Vendingland’s CEO, Marco Seijger, also praises Vendon.

“Before Vendon, we only restocked a small number of machines. It was manageable without telemetry. However, as we grew, Vendon’s solutions became indispensable.”

The user-friendly interface of Vendon is particularly appreciated. Complex systems make it hard to integrate new staff, often leaving software management to a few people. Vendon is straightforward, and anyone can quickly learn and use it effectively.”

Enhanced Customer Service

Vendingland has always prioritized premium customer service. Initially, they used phone numbers for reporting issues and later QR codes, allowing customers to send issue reports. About 10 years ago, they transitioned to telemetry to address common complaints about product availability and technical issues.

“We started using telemetry to monitor machines remotely, which helps us preempt issues and verify problems. Before telemetry, we had to visit the machine in person to check for issues, which was inefficient. Now, we can reboot devices remotely, saving time and resources,” explains Niels.

Telemetry also provides real-time data on machine status, sales, and stock levels, reducing the need for customer complaints and ensuring timely maintenance.

Efficient Route Planning

Prior to using Vendon, route planning involved manually checking each machine. With Vendon, Vendingland now generates orders based on precise needs, eliminating waste and shortages.

“When we started with Vendon, we prepared orders based on machine-level data. This approach reduced product returns and ensured optimal stock levels,” Niels says.

A Strong Partnership

Vendingland values its long-standing partnership with Vendon. “We are often among the first to implement new solutions and find that Vendon frequently develops similar solutions, integrating them into their system,” Niels remarks.
